Job Role: Sr Maximo Consultant

Location: North Chicago, IL

Duration: Full-time

Pay: $140k - $145K/yr.

Role Overview: Provide Level 2/3 technical and functional support for IBM Maximo applications. This includes handling configurations, customizations, integrations, workflows, reporting, and automation scripts to ensure optimal asset management and system performance.

• BIRT Reporting and SQL Query Writing
• Workflow Design and Optimization
• Windows Server Administration (2022)
• Microsoft SQL Server (for applications with DB components)

Secondary Skills:

• SAP Integration Understanding (especially in Manufacturing/Finance domains)
• Incident and Problem Management (ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools)
• CMDB and Queue Group Configuration
• Communication and Stakeholder Management
• Documentation and SOP Creation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on support for Maximo applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Configure and customize Maximo modules using automation scripts and MBOs.
• Develop and maintain integrations with SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Design and optimize workflows to streamline business processes.
• Build and customize reports using BIRT and SQL.
• Support Maximo Mobile and ensure compatibility with enterprise devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Finance, Integration) to align application functionality with business needs.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials for end-users.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Maximo support roles, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Experience with Maximo 7.6 and/or MAS v9.
• Strong understanding of asset management processes in manufacturing and finance domains.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• IBM Maximo certification (preferred).
