Senior Manufacturing Technology Improvement Engineer

Located just 35 miles south of the vibrant New York City, our facility is a key player in delivering top-notch packaging solutions to clients globally.

As an Improvement Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations to enhance our competitive edge. You will lead exciting continuous improvement projects in various technological areas, tackling challenges that will push the boundaries of efficiency and quality within our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive improvement initiatives for Cyrel® manufacturing processes, enhancing capabilities, reliability, and production efficiency.
  • Lead and participate in global project management improvement projects that transform our manufacturing landscape.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for major process deviations, ensuring our operations remain on track.
  • Provide technical guidance to process engineers for day-to-day operations and empower them to tackle challenges effectively.
  • Initiate mid- to long-term capital projects, ensuring they align with our strategic goals and drive operational success.
  • Collaborate closely on new product and process development, contributing valuable manufacturing insights during the project phases.
  • Lead the implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) elements to ensure a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (higher degrees a plus).
  • Over 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on process improvement.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Salesforce, and process improvement tools (e.g., TrakSYS, IP21, LIMS, JMP, Minitab).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification (preferred).
  • Lean or Continuous Improvement experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience leading teams is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.

The Pay range for this role is $144,760.00 - $227,480.00 Annual

How Base Pay is Determined: DuPont has job leveling frameworks that help organize roles based on progressive levels of responsibility, proficiency and qualifications. Each role has an associated pay range (or an established pay rate for some roles) based on the competitive market in each country where we operate. Each individual’s pay is based on a variety of factors, including their role and the associated pay range for that role, their geographic location (i.e., country, state, metropolitan area), as well as their skills, experience, education and certifications, and performance.
