Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

  • Translate client RFPs into strategic, insight-driven marketing proposals that drive revenue and margin growth

  • Conceptualize and develop cross-platform programs spanning custom content, native integrations, experiential activations, and digital campaigns

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across sales, campaign strategy, and content teams to develop cohesive, high-impact proposals

  • Proactively generate compelling ideas that anticipate client needs and unlock new business opportunities

  • Leverage data, research, and audience insights to craft persuasive narratives and recommendations

  • Ensure all deliverables reflect Hearst’s high standards of brand quality, creativity, and storytelling

  • Manage multiple stakeholder requests with clarity, responsiveness, and strategic prioritization

  • Oversee project timelines and budgets to ensure efficient, high-quality execution

 

 

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 4+ years of experience developing marketing proposals across strategy and execution, or equivalent experience

  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create clear, persuasive, client-ready materials

  • Proven ability to interpret RFPs, media plans, and client briefs with accuracy and insight

  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform strategy and storytelling

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Resourceful, solutions-oriented problem solver who takes initiative

  • Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments

  • Interest in fashion, design, and Hearst editorial brands is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Keynote, and Google Workspace

  • This role is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule (4 days per week in-office)

The base salary for this role is $88,000–$104,000. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and additional compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
