JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Co-Brand Acquisitions owns channel strategy and execution for the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Co-Brand portfolio, with a focus on driving aggressive new cardholder growth across Affluent and Small Business audiences. This role sits at the intersection of channel execution, bank partner collaboration, and cross-functional marketing leadership and requires someone who can operate independently at a senior level from day one.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience in cobrand card acquisitions.
  • Hands-on ownership of Paid Search, Paid Media, and digital acquisition channels with demonstrated budget and performance accountability
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial services marketing regulations and co-brand compliance requirements, including experience managing legal and compliance reviews across offer copy, channel placements, and creative assets in a highly regulated environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty program, co-brand card acquisition economics, and the internal systems and processes specific to this portfolio
  • Experience managing integrated campaigns end-to-end, including creative development, cross-functional reviews, and deployment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into strategic recommendations for senior leadership

Preferred

  • Experience with Direct Mail execution, or CEC acquisition channels
  • Exposure to a card product refresh or long-range go-to-market initiative
  • Established relationships with American Express or equivalent bank partners

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Portfolio Growth & Program Management

  • Develop the marketing roadmap and product growth plan for Marriott Bonvoy American Express Co-Brands to deliver acquisitions goals
  • Identify target audiences, inform offer and value proposition strategy, and coordinate tactics to support portfolio expansion
  • Drive ongoing analysis, reporting, and forecasting in partnership with internal teams and bank partners
  • Continuously innovate and enhance marketing tactics to drive revenue and contribute to portfolio growth
  • Manage ad-hoc projects in support of Global Cards strategic goals

Channel Strategy & Execution

  • Own end-to-end acquisition strategy, execution, and performance for Digital (Res/Non-Res, App), Paid Search, Paid Media, RAF, IVR, and other acquisition channels
  • Plan, deploy, and manage campaigns, creative, budgets, and offers across channels to achieve KPIs
  • Monitor performance, identify breaks, and lead remediation; manage ongoing channel and segment optimization
  • Design and execute a Test & Learn roadmap; document and apply results to ongoing strategy
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency via personalization, triggers, ride-along opportunities, and new placement
  • Optimize Bank Channel and on-property/associate card acquisition performance

Integrated Marketing & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with bank partners to align on messaging, media strategy, and joint acquisitions objectives
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new features, promotional offers, and Marriott Bonvoy integrations
  • Partner with internal teams Product, Brand, Social, Legal, PR, Loyalty Marketing, and ECM to bring campaigns to market and integrate with enterprise initiatives
  • Support PR and communications strategy for acquisition-relevant announcements

Program Initiatives

  • Serve as a key contributor to program-wide future updates and refreshes providing channel insights and acquisition frameworks to inform long-range strategy
