Our client, a growing food & beverage manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Manager – IFS Cloud & IT Systems to oversee and optimize their enterprise technology environment.
This role has responsibility for both:
- Ownership and optimization of the IFS Cloud platform
- Oversight of IT infrastructure and enterprise systems
The role will guide IFS Cloud strategy and execution, while also managing the day-to-day performance, security, and reliability of the organization’s IT environment.
Important: This role requires direct hands-on experience with IFS Cloud in a manufacturing environment. Experience with other enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics will unfortunately not meet the requirements of this role.
What You Will Manage
IFS Cloud Ownership & Governance
- Serve as the primary owner and internal expert for the IFS Cloud platform
- Guide system design and optimization across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Projects
- Oversee system configuration, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and testing cycles
- Ensure financial accuracy within IFS Cloud, including posting controls, inventory valuation, manufacturing costing, and intercompany structures
- Align system workflows with evolving business and operational priorities
Financial & Manufacturing Systems
- Act as the functional authority for IFS Cloud financial modules and reporting
- Oversee manufacturing costing models, cost rollups, overhead allocation, variance analysis, and WIP reconciliation
- Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to improve system efficiency and reporting
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
Systems Integration & Data Strategy
- Manage integrations, APIs, and enterprise data flows across business applications
- Support EDI integrations and warehouse mobility solutions
- Strengthen master data governance and reporting accuracy
- Use SQL and BI tools to validate data integrity and produce business insights
IT Infrastructure & Technology Operations
- Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, ensuring system availability and performance
- Manage cloud services, servers, storage, networks, and cybersecurity practices
- Optimize and govern the Microsoft Office 365 environment
- Develop and enforce IT policies, security standards, and disaster recovery planning
- Manage vendors, licensing, telecom services, and hardware procurement
Team Oversight & Collaboration
- Oversee a multi-functional technology team, including:
- An IFS Cloud Manager responsible for system operations and support
- IT technicians supporting infrastructure and user systems
- Provide guidance, structure, and accountability across systems teams
- Drive documentation standards, user training, and system adoption
- Oversee system initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and post-go-live support
Qualifications
- Mandatory hands-on experience with IFS Cloud
- 10+ years of IT and enterprise systems experience
- 5+ years managing IFS Cloud environments within manufacturing organizations
- Strong expertise in financial systems and accounting processes
- Deep understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, and financial controls
- Experience managing system integrations, SQL-based reporting, and BI tools
- Experience in food & beverage or manufacturing environments strongly preferred
- Experience overseeing systems teams and IT infrastructure operations
