The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for the delivery for HR Strategy and driving talent initiatives, supporting Leaders and teams. This role will serve as a strategic business partner to Columbus and New York based teams. The Sr. HR Manager will assist with administration of policies and programs covering the talent lifecycle, HR strategy delivery and associate relations. This includes the following responsibilities: Performance Management, Organizational Leadership review, Leadership Development and Culture.
Responsibilities
Must possess the ability to:
• Drive a strategic partnership with assigned business leaders to ensure their talent agenda, goals and priorities are aligned with business strategy
• Work with HR and Supply Chain Ops leadership in handling the talent lifecycle and associated action items.
• Drive organizational effectiveness and change management initiatives; partner/influence with leaders to address complex organizational design issues where critical for business success.
• Operate with a high degree of independence through alignment with HR and function leaders.
• Inspire change management efforts, offering solutions and tailoring HR programs to support climate, engagement and DE&I.
Acquisition and Onboarding
• Partner with leadership and talent acquisition to recruit and select candidates.
• Build and sustain talent pipelines across all roles and functions to meet current and future workforce needs.
• Ensure appropriate on-boarding and assimilation for associates in new positions.
Alignment &Performance Management
• Identify and make recommendations to align organization structures that create high performing teams that best support business strategies.
• Build talent Strategy for individualized teams and leaders on an annual basis.
• Coordinate and complete annual performance review process and other and other performance connections as it aligns the Talent Management process.
• Assists with Roles and Responsibilities/Role clarity.
Development &Succession Planning
• Leads succession planning conversations and development processes within the team.
• Work with leadership to determine talent needs and retention strategies
• Identify leadership and associate development needs and make necessary recommendations
Culture and Retention
• Provide change management support as needed
• Coach and influence leaders and associates to enable high performance and engagement
• Assists with all Associate Opinion Survey processes including dissemination of results and action planning processes
Rewards &Recognition
• Partner with Total Rewards team to administer compensation within predetermined guidelines.
• Perform analysis and recommended compensation actions to retain top talent and maintain a high performing culture
• Seven years of proven human resources experience
• Experience should include all areas of human resources and knowledge of employment law
• Experience in highly matrixed organization
• Outstanding associate relations expertise
• High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
• Proven relationship-building skills
Education
• Bachelor's degree required
