About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the growth, profitability, and brand integrity of the company’s presence on third-party platforms. This role oversees two critical functions: the Same Day Delivery ecosystem (Instacart, DoorDash, Uber) and the External Marketplace expansion (Amazon) for proprietary brands.
You will synchronize these two channels to ensure a cohesive digital-first strategy. You will act as the primary liaison between executive leadership and our external partners, ensuring that our proprietary products are discoverable and our delivery fulfillment is flawless. Your success is measured by total external channel GMV, the health of our private-label brands in the digital space, and the operational efficiency of our partner integrations.
What You’ll Do
Develop a unified strategy for third-party platforms that balances the instant gratification of Same Day Delivery with the long-tail growth of the Amazon Marketplace
Oversee the performance of individual contributors, ensuring their individual channel strategies do not conflict and are maximizing total company ROI
Manage the combined marketing and promotional spend across all external platforms, optimizing for customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV)
Lead top-to-top negotiations with major partners (Amazon, DoorDash, etc.) to secure better fee structures, pilot program access, and premium marketing placements
Bridge the gap between Merchant teams (Proprietary Brands) and Operations teams (Same Day Delivery) to ensure the physical supply chain supports digital demand
Set the standards for how proprietary brands appear across all external platforms, ensuring A+ content and brand stores are consistent and high-performing
Consolidate reporting from both sub-functions to provide leadership with a single view of external channel health, market share trends, and competitive threats
Guide individual contributors through complex operational hurdles, such as inventory synchronization issues or partner contract disputes
Build the playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) required to launch new brands or new delivery partners rapidly

What Skills You Have
Required
7+ years experience in digital, merchandising or other relevant experience
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong background in E-commerce and Omni-channel Merchandising
Proficient in Google Sheets
