ROLE SUMMARY

The Digital Manufacturing (DM) Team's mission is to simplify processes and experiences to drive Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) outcomes. DM is responsible for the digital transformation of all processes across shop floor, quality control, quality assurance, engineering, environment, health, and safety operations. Our programs are led by user experience and design thinking to understand the journeys that our PGS customers are working through daily.

DM leads a focus on innovative technology implementation across PGS sites including a digital lean production system, sensors, Industrial Internet of Things, wearables, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality solutions. DM drives efficiencies in end-to-end operations by embedding predictive and prescriptive insights from artificial intelligence into our manufacturing, quality and cross-functional applications. The Senior Manager, Digital Manufacturing, Transformation Value Stream Lead will be part of the Transformation function within DM. In conjunction with PGS, the Transformation function is responsible for the following:

  • Leading Strategic Accelerator Programs for PGS Digital.

  • Defining Transformation Strategy across Sites and Value Streams.

  • Leading Transformation Delivery across the PGS Network.

  • Sustaining and Optimizing Transformation across the PGS Network.

The DM Transformation Framework consists of multiple process aligned Value Streams that are applied across each site. The majority of Transformation work is defined and executed within the Value Streams at each of the sites. Overall Transformation is secured by a combination of Transformation Site Leaders and Transformation Value Stream Leaders who together orchestrate the overall definition and execution.

The Senior Manager, Digital Manufacturing, Transformation Value Stream Lead will be responsible for the Digital Transformation strategy definition and delivery for one or more Value Streams across all in scope sites. The Senior Manager will offer guidance and support to Senior Associates on the Value Stream Team. The Senior Manager will act under the direction of the Director (i.e., hiring manager in this case).

  • Manufacturing Execution & Shop Floor Automation

  • Manufacturing Support

  • Manufacturing Intelligence+

  • Production Planning & Supply Chain

  • Quality Control

  • QA & Batch Release

  • People & Enabling

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Manager, Digital Manufacturing, Transformation Value Stream Leads responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Defines above site and site level Digital Transformation Strategy above site and at site for the Value Stream(s) they are aligned with by driving our Value Based Analysis process. This is done in partnership with PGS, the Digital Transformation Site Teams, Solution Teams and Plant Network and results in a prioritized digital portfolio in line with the value stream transformation roadmap of the sites.

  • Drives the detailed planning across the site(s) for the Value Stream(s) they are aligned with. This includes the definition of Transformation Units within their Value Stream and site(s).

  • In conjunction with their site counterparts, defines how organization process and digital align at each Transformation Unit.

  • Ensures efforts are delivering on the full scope of Transformation Objectives by assessing value drivers and reprioritizing as required.

  • Supports sustainment and continuous improvement activities

  • Supports Senior Associates & Contractors in Digital.

  • Transformation delivery at sites for the Value Stream(s) they are aligned to.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT, Engineering or Business discipline.

  • 7 years related work experience.

  • Demonstrated stakeholder manager across multi-functional groups, have strong abilities to influence and manage change. Can adapt communication depending on audience, including with senior leaders

  • Experience leading a team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience of BioPharma operations and how they can be digitized specializing in the Value Stream(s) they will be aligned to.

  • Demonstrated experience working in large scale, multi-solution deployment programs.

  • Experience in driving a convergence of IT/OT.

  • Experience in Agile principles.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102,500.00 to $0.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 17.5% of the base salary. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Salary range does not apply to the Tampa, FL location.
