About the Role



They are seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic to take full ownership of facility and production equipment maintenance across their Tucson operation. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. You will be the go-to technical resource for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment installs, and utility work across the plant. This position is ideal for a seasoned industrial maintenance professional who thrives working independently, solving problems across multiple disciplines, and keeping a demanding production environment running with minimal downtime.



Responsibilities



  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production and facilities equipment
  • Install new equipment and relocate existing equipment, including running water, compressed air, three-phase electrical, steam, hydraulic, and vacuum utilities
  • Independently identify and correct facility or equipment issues and communicate status to area management
  • Direct maintenance mechanics and operators as needed on larger jobs
  • Utilize the company's CMMS platform on tablets and other electronic devices to manage work orders
  • Respond to production priorities and adjust work to minimize impact on critical operations
  • Follow all safety protocols, use required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area


Qualifications



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge across mechanical systems, plumbing, steam, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, welding, and basic electrical
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
  • Certification (or the ability to certify) in one or more of the following: HVAC (Universal), Welding, Commercial or Industrial Electrical, or Instrumentation / I&E
  • Comfortable working in an environment that involves hazardous chemicals and requires respirator use (must be clean-shaven where the respirator seals to the face)
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, CMMS)
  • Must be authorized to access ITAR and/or EAR controlled technical data (U.S. Person status required)

Pay range and compensation package
