Responsibilities include:

You will play a key role in migration to, and adoption of, M365, SharePoint, and Power Platform. This Software Sr. Engineer role will be accountable for multiple projects at any given time, and will be expected to provide technical guidance for a wide variety of systems/solutions.

Project work requires the ability to execute well across the entire development life cycle and within each of the application layers: presentation, business logic, and data. This position participates in all stages of the application development life cycle and will work with Scrum teams to provide application design, development, testing and production support utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. 

  • Architect and design supportable technical solutions for complex business requirements
  • Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications for complex computer platforms and applications
  • Develop customizations for projects and production enhancements
  • Develop strong relationships with end users to effectively troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality
  • Participate in the definition of key scenarios, use cases, and end-user experiences
  • Design, implement and refine chosen solutions in close partnership with Product Management and partner teams
  • Identify hard problems, evaluate the pros/cons of practical solutions, and drive decision making
  • Drive long-term design thinking for systems and engineering processes with simplicity and maintainability as core tenets

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of Agile experience
  • 3 + years of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
  • 5+ years of configuration experience with Cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or MS Azure
  • 3+ years of experience deploying Microsoft 365 products
  • 3+ years of SharePoint Online experience

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Client service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate
  • Experience with MS 365 products Teams, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Yammer
  • Experience with content management systems and related records management disciplines
  • Experience with Search applications and related platforms
  • Experience with governance, compliance and risk management processes




Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

NC-Charlotte: Min: $108,500 Mid: $155,000
