Schwab Technology Services partners closely with business and technology leaders to deliverhighimpactinitiatives that drive meaningful outcomes for our clients and the firm.We’reseeking experiencedSenior Project Managersto lead complex,enterprise wideinitiatives across business, technology, and operational domains. This role blends strongproject execution,stakeholder leadership,to bring strategy to life and deliver measurable business value.
You’llwork in a highly visible environment, partnering with senior leaders, crossfunctional teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Agile delivery leaders to ensure work is planned effectively, executed with discipline, and aligned to strategic priorities.
Responsibilities may include:
Enterprise Delivery & Execution:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross functional initiatives from planning through execution and close.
- Define clear scope, milestones, success metrics, and integrated delivery plans that align to business outcomes.
- Proactively manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, dependencies, and change throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure delivery commitments are met while maintaining transparency and accountability.
Financial & Resource Management:
- Oversee project financials, including forecasting, budgets, and ongoing reconciliation.
- Partner with resource managers and leaders to plan capacity and ensure efficient utilization.
- Supportdata drivendecision-makingthroughaccuratereporting and insights.
Agile & Scaled Agile Partnership:
- Operate effectively within Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments.
- Partner closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Release Train Engineers to support Agile planning, execution, and milestones.
- Adapt delivery approaches to balance traditional project management discipline with Agile practices.
Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement:
- Build strong, trusted relationships with business and technology partners at all levels, including senior leaders.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
- Facilitate problem solving, navigate ambiguity, and resolve conflicts with professionalism and empathy.
- Coach and mentor team members, helping remove obstacles and foster ahigh performing, collaborative environment.
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience leading medium to large, complex, cross functional initiatives in technical, product, or operational environments.
- Proven experience managing multiple workstreams with competing priorities.
- Strong working knowledge of project management fundamentals, financial management, and delivery governance.
- Handson experience with common delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and SharePoint.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and earn trust across a matrixed organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of project, program, or technical project management experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise level initiatives within financial services or similarly regulated environments.
- Experience partnering in Agile or Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments.
- PMP, PMIACP, or other relevant certifications.
- Exposure to Rally, Clarity, or similar portfolio management platforms.
- Familiarity with data driven, analytics, or technology enabled initiatives.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, including AI concepts, is a plus.
