We are looking for experienced IT Program/Project Manager to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. This is a fast paced, challenging, and rewarding experience in which you are able to provide solutions on one of the most complex and high profile programs within this community.
We are seeking a Data Center Floor Manager who will be responsible for the daily operations of the Data Center infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security and efficiency of the data centers, to include but not limited to validating and coordinating Mission Partner data center access; escorting and assisting Mission Partners within the data center; enabling completion of authorized IT activities; enforcing access control procedures, safety requirements and data center standards; documenting shift activities and incidents; and escalating issues to the appropriate operations, engineering and/or security teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Center Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data center, including monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure, such as power, cooling and networking; perform walk-throughs of the facility
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement data center strategies, roadmaps, and budgets to meet business requirements and industry trends
Infrastructure Management: Implement and manage data center infrastructure, including data center build-outs, migrations and upgrades
Capacity Planning: Develop and maintain data center capacity plans to ensure adequate resources to meet business demands
Security and Compliance: Ensure data center operations are compliant with relevant security and compliance standards, such as SSAE16, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS; Assist with physical security monitoring, using closed circuit monitoring camaras
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with data center vendors, facilities service providers and ensure compliance with SLAs
Performance Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key performance metrics, such as uptime, latency and power usage and provide regular reporting to stakeholders
