Position Overview
  The Investment Technology Services (ITS) team is responsible for Tier 2+ daily production support of all critical investment and trading systems for WFAM.  This position will serve as a player/coach type of role within ITS, predominately centered on daily support and streamlining of WFAM's front office, fixed income investment systems (i.e. Bloomberg AIM, Bondedge, Investortools Perform, DTCC suite, etc.) and other related, proprietary toolsets.   The successful candidate will have in-depth and proven experience supporting and working with OMS's (experience directly supporting and working with Bloomberg is highly preferred) with a track record of excellent customer service, deep system knowledge and a knack for leadership of more junior resources in the day to day.  
  Over time, this position will also evolve into direct project work related to the WFAM divestiture and other BAU activities, which will provide a very engaging and rare ground-floor opportunity to build out and support the new platform required once WFAM is fully divested from Wells Fargo.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Leverage Fixed Income investments and trading technology experience to help coach and develop more junior team members
  • Evaluate investments technology environment and provide streamlining suggestions, requirements for automation and in certain cases, directly implement suggestions for improvement
  • Intake, triage, communicate, resolve and provide root causes for most complex production support problems affecting front office investment systems (i.e. Bloomberg AIM, Bondedge, Investortools Perform, DTCC etc.)
  • Work closely with trading and investment technology development teams to understand upcoming changes and all impacts to the environment
  • Work with systems vendors, support staff and key personnel to ensure issues are addressed and timely responses and attention is given to critical issues or break fixes
  • Lend expertise to and provide a high level of customer support for equity investments platforms, traders, investment teams and back office functions (i.e. settlements)
  • Provide support for WFAM divestiture by ensuring production systems stability, streamlining and ensuring awareness of  impacts to workflows

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business systems analysis or design experience demonstrated through work, military, or education


Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of operation work flows/processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of governance and compliance expected from providing solutions in systems and technology domains


Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience supporting and working with Bloomberg AIM
  • 5+ years experience in Investortools Perform
  • 5 years Bondedge experience
  • 2+ years in a team lead capacity, prioritizing tasks, providing coaching based on expertise to more junior team members and directing work
  • Prior experience and familiarity with Wells Fargo Asset Management trading/investments systems is highly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience supporting a buy-side trading OMS (order management system) in a production support and critical project implementation capacity
  • 5+ years technology experience in a buy side investment management firm
     




Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

MA-Boston: Min: $70,300 Mid: $99,000 Max: $127,700
WI-Menomonee Falls: Min: $58,600 Mid: $82,500 Max: $106,400
