The Opportunity

A healthcare-focused investment bank is hiring a Senior Analyst to join its lean deal teams executing M&A, PE recapitalizations, capital raises, and strategic advisory mandates. Operating exclusively in healthcare, the firm brings deep sector expertise and bulge bracket-trained bankers to middle market clients. Deal teams run three to six people, which means direct MD interaction, real client exposure from day one, and no risk of being siloed. You will work across both sponsored and non-sponsored transactions, taking ownership of execution from first pitch through closing, with a clear path to Associate for strong performers.

What You Will Do

Financial Analysis and Valuation:

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models including LBO, DCF, and comparable company and transaction analyses for private and public targets
  • Conduct sector research and precedent transaction analyses to support live deal work and new business pitches
  • Perform preliminary valuation work and market sizing to frame strategic options for clients ahead of a process

Transaction Execution:

  • Manage client due diligence processes end to end: coordinating data room setup, tracking buyer requests, and liaising between clients, legal counsel, and counterparties
  • Support buyer and investor outreach including preparation of teasers, NDAs, and process letters during competitive sale processes
  • Monitor deal timelines, manage workstreams across advisors, and keep senior bankers informed of open items through closing

Marketing and Deal Materials:

  • Lead preparation of offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations that position clients effectively to buyers and capital providers
  • Draft internal deal committee memoranda summarising transaction rationale, risk factors, and deal structure recommendations
  • Create pitch books and strategic materials for new business development including sector overviews and preliminary valuation work

Client and Senior Banker Interaction:

  • Contribute directly to deal strategy and positioning discussions given the lean team structure and expectation of senior-level engagement from day one
  • Interface with client management teams during due diligence, preparation of materials, and throughout live processes
