Job Title: Senior Investigator
Location: Intelligence Options LLC; New York Office
Reports to: Managing Director
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM-5:30 PM, Exempt
Salary Range: $85,000 to $95,000
Intelligence Options LLC seeks a full-time senior investigator to conduct in-depth legal research and investigations. The senior investigator will be tasked with legal due diligence, analyzing the public records and media coverage of corporations, individuals, and other entities involved in litigation or other business transactions with our clients. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience working on legal investigations, superior critical thinking skills, and a strong understanding of the U.S. court system and public records, as well as the ability to convey relevant findings to clients succinctly and eloquently. Candidate must be familiar with legal and financial nomenclature to draft accurate, concise summaries of complex documents and research findings, including but not limited to open-source intelligence and public records, such as SEC filings, court records, and the like. A comprehensive knowledge of research methodologies and Boolean searching, as well as an interest in actively seeking out new skills and research tools, is required.
Candidates must be able and willing to commute to midtown Manhattan for a hybrid work week with required days in the office during the training period of approximately three months.
