Senior IT Support Engineer | Washington, DC (Hybrid)
I’m partnering with a highly respected private investment and philanthropic organization seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to be the first dedicated IT presence in their growing DC office.
This is not a traditional help desk role.
You’ll be the go-to technology resource for executives and staff, handling everything from white-glove end-user support to systems administration, infrastructure projects, and office technology operations. The environment is highly collaborative, with direct partnership alongside an experienced IT team based in NYC.
What you’ll be doing:
• Executive-facing IT support and troubleshooting
• Windows, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, and GPO administration
• Conference room, AV, mobile device, and office technology support
• Systems administration across on-prem and cloud environments
• Supporting infrastructure, networking, security, and vendor management initiatives
• Leading desktop, hardware, software, and lifecycle upgrade projects
What they’re looking for:
• 8+ years of IT support / systems administration experience
• Strong Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 experience
• Comfortable supporting both Mac and Windows environments
• Experience in small to mid-sized professional environments
• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence
• Financial services, family office, legal, or other high-touch professional services experience is highly preferred
