About Us

G1 Facility Services is a national facility maintenance and construction provider supporting aviation, government, and commercial operations across the United States and Caribbean. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC/R Technician to support our growing HVAC and refrigeration operations, with a clear opportunity to evolve into a departmental leadership role.

This is a hands‑on, critical operations role in a large‑scale, high‑security facility where reliability, safety, and technical expertise are essential.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across facilities
  • Hands‑on work with air handlers, rooftop units, heaters, split systems, walk‑in coolers/freezers, and commercial kitchen equipment
  • Supporting refrigeration‑heavy environments with additional HVAC operational oversight
  • Serving as a technical escalation point and helping reduce reliance on subcontractors
  • Contributing to future team building, process improvement, and HVAC/R operational standards as the department grows


Licensing Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License
  • Massachusetts HVAC Contractor License


Schedule & Compensation

  • 5‑day, 40‑hour work week with flexibility based on operational needs
  • Morning‑leaning shifts typical; rotating schedules may apply
  • Overtime available and paid at 1.5x after 40 hours

Base salary range:

$60.00 – $75.00 per hour (Based on experience) + OT available

Pre‑Employment Requirements

  • Ability to pass a federal drug screen (zero‑tolerance environment)
  • Motor vehicle record meeting insurance criteria
  • Background check and airport badging (10‑year review)
