We are assisting a client in hiring a Senior People Operations Analyst to support HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and HR systems administration. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, problem-solving professional with hands-on Workday experience and a strong focus on data accuracy and process improvement.


Job HIghlights:

  • Job Title: Senior People Operations Analyst (Temp-to-Hire)
  • Location: Redwood City, CA – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
  • Rate: Up to $60/hr



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee lifecycle transactions in Workday and other HR systems (hires, terminations, updates).
  • Audit HR data regularly to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Respond to HR inquiries via ticketing systems and email, triaging as needed.
  • Support reporting requests, generate standard and ad hoc reports, and analyze workforce data.
  • Troubleshoot Workday issues and escalate complex cases appropriately.
  • Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and user guides to support self-service.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT) to support process improvements and audits.
  • Contribute to People Operations projects and initiatives as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years in People Operations, HR operations, or HRIS roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday for employee data, transactions, audits, and reporting.
  • Strong auditing, data integrity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation) and other MS Office tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and accuracy.


Preferred:

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Smartsheet, or ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
  • Familiarity with AI tools to support operational efficiency, auditing, and process improvement.
