About the Role
Senior Hospital Applications Analyst (Epic Trainer) participates in the planning, development, implementation and support of clinical information systems. Functions independently, performs analysis, testing and implementation of procedures on systems to solve complex problems. Develops testing strategies according to system build and downstream system requirements. Maintains project plans and assists with the development of detailed training programs and materials. Ensures that systems are functioning under the guidance of acceptable University policies and procedures and meets all regulatory requirements.

Compensation
In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is PS/30S: Min. $89,754 Mid. $108,480 Max. $129,432per year. University Hospital considers multiple factors when determining compensation, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant work experience, education and training, key skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational needs. The expected salary range for this position is in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

What You’ll Do - Provides analysis, design and support of hospital systems, including testing, training, implementation and on-going support. - Documents, communicates and assists in problem determination and resolution. - Updates and maintains detailed project plans. - Interacts with end users, vendors and other related areas to gather requirements and compile data. - Assists in the installation of software and/or hardware systems. Works in concert with other HST/IS&T Departments pertaining to the planning and implementation of systems to ensure that HST/IS&T standards are met. - Develops and maintains detailed documentation as it applies to training manuals, build documents, decision documents, etc., as required for any assigned projects. - Assists in the development and delivery of effective training for the user community and increases proper system usage by users. - Performs technical resource planning and support. Recommends project team organization to ensure successful implementation. - Works with the user community to deliver satisfactory project level service. - Provides input to the formulation of departmental policies and procedures. - Is knowledgeable in and adheres to policies and procedures related to implementing and supporting hospital systems.
