What you will do:
- Develop VHDL code to support FPGA-based designs; be proficient in simulating and debugging design in code and on circuit board
- Write detailed technical design documentation and test procedures.
- Test and verify designs to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements.
- Model, build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with simulation
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline
- 5+ years of experience on FPGA development including VHDL logic design, simulation, and testing on hardware.
- Circuit board and FPGA troubleshooting experience
- Ability to operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters.
- Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program
- Design experience with Altera’s Quartus Design Software
- Design experience with QuestaSim
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Pay Range: $40 to $80/hour

Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Waukesha, WI
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.
