A leader in construction reinforcement and steel products is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to support its growing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing finance professional to deepen their expertise in financial planning and analysis while partnering closely with business leaders to drive performance and strategic decision-making.
The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a key business unit. This role will play a critical part in delivering insights, building financial models, and supporting strategic initiatives, while collaborating cross-functionally to improve financial processes and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial performance management by analyzing trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing actionable insights
- Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals
- Perform variance analysis and translate financial results into meaningful insights for leadership
- Support evaluation of capital investments and strategic initiatives through financial modeling and analysis
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators
- Assist in ensuring compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements
- Partner with finance leadership and business stakeholders to support decision-making
- Contribute to month-end close processes, including analysis and reporting of financial results
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives across the finance function
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting (manufacturing or distribution experience preferred)
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights clearly
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP; SAP BPC preferred
- Familiarity with financial planning and reporting tools
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus
