A leader in construction reinforcement and steel products is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to support its growing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing finance professional to deepen their expertise in financial planning and analysis while partnering closely with business leaders to drive performance and strategic decision-making.

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for a key business unit. This role will play a critical part in delivering insights, building financial models, and supporting strategic initiatives, while collaborating cross-functionally to improve financial processes and reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support financial performance management by analyzing trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing actionable insights
  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Perform variance analysis and translate financial results into meaningful insights for leadership
  • Support evaluation of capital investments and strategic initiatives through financial modeling and analysis
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements
  • Partner with finance leadership and business stakeholders to support decision-making
  • Contribute to month-end close processes, including analysis and reporting of financial results
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives across the finance function


Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting (manufacturing or distribution experience preferred)
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and continuous improvement


Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP; SAP BPC preferred
  • Familiarity with financial planning and reporting tools


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus
