Our client is currently seeking a Senior Field Manager for Construction Projects. This is a hybrid posiiton with regionally based travel. The position is based out of the greater Savannah GA area. The Sr. Field Manager will receive a company truck with gas card This is a senior field operations role focused on overseeing field operations, managing Field Managers, coordinating staffing & sequencing, and helping to keep projects on schedule, safe & organized. Someone with 5+ years in senior field leadership & structural steel experience is preferred, but strong field leaders from related construction backgrounds should apply.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee all field operations including crew staffing, work sequencing, and vendor coordination across multiple concurrent projects
- Manage and mentor Field Managers, holding them accountable for schedule adherence, safety compliance, budget performance, and quality standards
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers on buyouts, change orders, and client communications
- Maintain and enforce company safety and quality standards; proactively identify and resolve jobsite issues before they escalate
- Serve as the primary point of contact with general contractors, owners, and trade partners in the field
- Help develop and implement field processes, reporting systems, and operational standards for the erection division
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and developing field personnel as the division scales
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree Preferrable
- 5+ years of experience in Senior field leadership (Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Field Operations Manager, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience managing other field leaders and running multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to improve project performance through effective staffing decisions and process improvements
- Strong planning & coordination skills for labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials
- Direct experience in structural steel erection operations
- Familiarity with construction technology platforms such as Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar tools
