Senior FEA Analysis Engineer (Defense)
Location: Chandler, AZ area Status: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder. No H1-B visas will be considered.
The Role
Lead the Analysis team in performing static and dynamic stress analysis for defense-related product development. You will utilize advanced FEA solvers to identify failure modes and recommend design solutions to reduce risk during testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Direct workloads and train analysis staff while performing high-level static and dynamic FEA.
- System Analysis: Require extensive experience in seating systems and ground vehicle dynamics.
- Strategic Oversight: Support department budgeting, bids, and technical reporting using Abaqus, Optistruct, or LS-DYNA.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in static and dynamic stress analysis.
- Technical Depth: Expert understanding of FEA theory and experience with DoD platforms (ground combat, marine, or aircraft).
- Desired Skills: PhD, experience with composite materials, and proficiency in SolidWorks.
