Overview:
We are partnering with a leading organization on a highly visible enterprise transformation initiative focused on modernizing and consolidating its Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment to create a trusted data foundation for AI and advanced analytics across their business.
This long-term, fully remote contract opportunity is seeking a Senior Enterprise Program Manager with a proven track record of leading large-scale, complex programs spanning multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience managing cross-functional dependencies, driving data-centric transformation initiatives, and partnering with executive leadership to deliver strategic outcomes.
Experience within retail, supply chain, logistics, or other data-intensive environments is required. This role will play a critical part in aligning business and technology teams, improving data consistency and governance, and enabling the organization's long-term AI strategy through enterprise data consolidation and modernization.
Responsibilities
- Lead a large-scale enterprise program focused on consolidating and modernizing data platforms and EDW environments to establish a trusted foundation for AI and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams across business, technology, data, analytics, architecture, and governance teams.
- Identify, track, and proactively manage cross-stream dependencies, risks, issues, and critical path activities.
- Partner with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to align program objectives, priorities, and delivery milestones.
- Drive initiatives focused on data consistency, data quality, master data alignment, and enterprise-wide data standardization.
- Facilitate strategic discussions regarding data sourcing, data lineage, governance, and integration across disparate systems and business functions.
- Ensure successful coordination between data engineering, architecture, analytics, AI, supply chain, and business operations teams.
- Develop and maintain executive-level program reporting, status updates, dashboards, and steering committee presentations.
- Provide consulting and advisory support to senior executives regarding transformation strategy, roadmap development, and organizational readiness.
- Establish governance structures, communication plans, and delivery frameworks to ensure successful execution across all workstreams.
- Drive a data-driven culture by helping business leaders leverage trusted enterprise data assets to enable AI, reporting, and advanced decision-making capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of program and project management experience leading large, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience managing highly complex programs with multiple workstreams, large stakeholder groups, and significant cross-functional dependencies.
- Experience leading enterprise data, analytics, EDW, data platform modernization, cloud data migration, or digital transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data ecosystems, including data sourcing, integration, governance, quality, lineage, and master data management concepts.
- Executive consulting experience with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at the C-suite and VP leadership levels.
- Demonstrated success establishing governance, managing program risks, and driving enterprise alignment across business and technology organizations.
- Experience developing executive presentations, steering committee materials, and strategic program communications.
- Experience within retail, supply chain, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or other complex operational environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or data-driven transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms, data warehouses, and enterprise data architecture principles.
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or related program management certifications preferred.
