Position Title: Senior Electrical Estimator

Location: Brentwood, CA – Onsite

Anticipated Start Date: 05/25/2026.

Job Type: Fulltime Permanent Role/Direct Hire

Salary Range: $100K - $140K/Annum plus benefits

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).


Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing team within a well-established construction services environment. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, supporting project planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate, timely project cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and other documentation
  • Analyze blueprints and technical documents to determine labor, material, and time requirements
  • Develop budget pricing from schematic designs and conceptual information
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives
  • Prepare scopes of work and proposal documentation for bids and negotiated projects
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client-facing discussions as needed
  • Collaborate with project teams on change orders and cost-to-complete estimates
  • Support continuous improvement of estimating tools, systems, and processes
  • Assist in mentoring junior team members and supporting departmental initiatives
  • Maintain accuracy and composure while working under tight deadlines


Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial and/or industrial projects
  • Experience with design-build projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and calculations (e.g., voltage drop, conduit fill, ampacity, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, EBM, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
