Job Title: RF Engineer/ Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Holtsville NY USA 11742 (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in electromagnetic interference (EMI), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and signal integrity (SI). This role focuses on simulation, analysis, and optimization of ruggedized mobile devices and barcode scanners. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced simulation tools and contribute to integrating AI-driven solutions to enhance engineering workflows and product performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed SI/EMC simulations at component, board, and system levels using tools such as CST Studio Suite and Cadence Sigrity
• Conduct pre- and post-layout signal integrity analysis for high-speed interfaces (DDR3/DDR4, USB 2.0/3.x), including:
• Eye diagram analysis
• Impedance control validation
• Crosstalk mitigation
• Timing analysis
• Analyze and optimize designs for products with wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, RFID, WWAN)
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve product performance and engineering efficiency
• Review and enhance existing designs and applications
• Develop innovative methods and tools to solve complex engineering challenges
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and performance
• Support compliance with global EMI/EMC standards
• Contribute to AI integration initiatives, including automation of simulation workflows
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Hands-on experience in RF/Electrical Engineering with focus on EMI/EMC and signal integrity analysis
• Experience working with RF technologies such as WWAN, Wi-Fi, and RFID
• Proficiency with simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS, CST Studio Suite, or Cadence Sigrity
• Familiarity with lab equipment including:
• Vector Network Analyzers (VNA)
• Spectrum Analyzers
• Oscilloscopes
• RF Power Meters
