Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Bethesda, MD. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems, conducting power distribution and system analyses, and ensuring project compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Key tasks include collaborating with multidisciplinary BIM teams, preparing detailed electrical and power system designs, conducting feasibility studies, managing project timelines, and overseeing installation processes. The engineer will also mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices. Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Electrical Design and in-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles
  • Comprehensive understanding of Power Distribution and Power Systems
  • Strong expertise in the application of electrical engineering to various fields such as office, residential, and mission-critical facility designs
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Preferred)
  • Relevant industry certifications and/or professional licenses (PE preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of lighting, lighting controls and grounding, and performance of load analyses, feasibility studies, and cost analysis
  • Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient design and adherence to sustainability standards such as LEED is a plus
