The Senior EHS Specialist is a key site‑level leader responsible for executing and sustaining Pall’s Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs in accordance with the Danaher EHS Playbook, regulatory requirements, and DBS principles. This role provides dedicated EHS support and oversees all onsite training activities to ensure all required EHS and operational training is effectively scheduled, tracked, and consistently maintained. As a hands‑on EHS practitioner, the Senior EHS Specialist drives risk reduction, compliance assurance, associate engagement, and continuous improvement to achieve world‑class safety performance at our Timonium, Maryland manufacturing site. This is an onsite position.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage OSHA and EPA-required programs and plans, ensuring full regulatory compliance across safety, environmental, sustainability, and operational activities.
  • Collaboratively drive proactive safety initiatives through observations, data analysis, Gemba walks, and toolbox talks with production teams to reduce pSIFs and support a zero‑harm workplace.
  • Respond to site emergencies, lead injury and near‑miss investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Build and maintain the Operations and EHS training program; schedule sessions, track required compliance training, partner with leaders and HR on completions, and maintain accurate training documentation for audits and reviews.
  • Support additional responsibilities and perform further duties as assigned.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or related field or 5+ years prior years’ experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental permitting requirements.
  • Experience leading risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action programs.
  • Excellent project management, writing, and PC skills, including experience working with Microsoft 360 applications.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience with positively influencing workplace behavior and culture.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience with:

  • Professional certification (e.g., ASP, CSP, CIH) or progress toward certification.
  • Experience supporting ISO 14001 / ISO 4500 / 22301 management systems.

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
