Initial Responsibilities
- Engage directly with key customers on technical topics
- Present and demonstrate photonic components
- Translate customer requirements into internal engineering feedback
- Address technical issues and support problem resolution
- Perform hands-on lab work including debugging, validation, and demos
- Support customer design cycles (guidance, not full system design ownership)
- Coordinate with internal engineering and subject matter experts
- Manage technical customer engagements end-to-end
Must-Have Strong hands-on photonic component experience, including:
- Lasers (especially laser chips preferred)
- Modulators
- Optical receivers
- TIAs
- Photodetectors
- PICs (photonic integrated circuits)
