Leads and continues to evolve and maintain data & analytics capabilities within the Epic EHR (Cogito: Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer) to better support data presentation, analytics & insights, and clinical & business operations. Provides strategic oversight of business intelligence and analytics capabilities. Identifies and implements emerging new ways of executing on data & analytics. Lastly, collaborates with Sutter Health and its regional affiliates' executives to plan, align, budget, design, and implement data technologies in support of Sutter Health's mission, goals, strategies, and objectives.Job Description:
****Please Note: While this position is listed as hybrid, regular in-office attendance is required. Candidates should be prepared to commute to the Natomas office, at minimum, 2 days a week to support team collaboration and business needs.****
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, , Healthcare Management, Finance, Analytics, or similar field of study
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
DATA GOVERNANCE:
7 years’ experience in information management developing and implementing modern data governance programs for complex cross functional organizations, data quality initiatives, training and support for analytics and responsible use, and/or metadata management initiatives.
6 years of experience building data driven information technology systems.
5 years of progressive experience leading the implementation of data governance programs to support the business and strategic analytic needs of large enterprises.
5 years management experience including a demonstrated ability to effectively lead and mentor diverse teams.

Strategic Analytics Leadership: Leverage7 years of experiencein healthcare management to develop and implement business solutions for complex, cross-functional organizations. Pay Range is $195,561.60 to $312,915.20 / annual salaryThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
