The Senior Digital Operations Manager serves as a critical strategic and operational partner to the Digital Team leadership, sitting at the intersection of strategy, execution, and people. This role leads a small team of e-commerce managers while remaining hands-on with high-impact initiatives, partnering closely with digital, creative, technology, and operational leaders to drive alignment, structure, and execution across the organization.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with senior leadership to translate organizational vision into clear, measurable goals and action plans for the Digital Team
- Lead annual budget planning and monthly financial tracking
- Serve as a trusted advisor — synthesizing complex information and presenting data-driven recommendations to support executive decision-making
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of digital and cross-functional initiatives, serving as the central point of contact for stakeholder communication and project status reporting
- Identify operational gaps and lead process improvement efforts
- Manage the rollout of new systems, including change management and training
Team Cadence & Communication
- Own the Digital Team's operational rhythm, including agenda setting, materials preparation, meeting documentation, and action item tracking
- Plan and facilitate cross-functional workshops designed to solve complex organizational challenges and drive collaboration across disciplines
Culture & Team Insights
- Maintain a ground-level understanding of team culture and morale, proactively surfacing friction points and providing leadership with an informed, candid view of team dynamics
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in operations, program management, or a chief of staff function, ideally within a digital or technology-focused organization
- 2+ years of experience managing and developing direct reports
- Proven track record leading complex digital initiatives across multiple teams and disciplines
- Strong ability to translate strategy into executable plans while managing competing priorities
- Proven ability to design and implement processes that improve team efficiency
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including comfort presenting to senior leadership
- Strong financial acumen, including budget planning and expense tracking
- High degree of judgment, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Experience working with digital platforms, e-commerce environments, and/or technology teams preferred
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and building structure where it does not yet exist
