Senior Database Administrator (DBA)
Scope of Services
Participate as a Database Administrator as part of a collaborative team supporting an enterprise-wide database environment. This role includes both project-based work and operational support across multiple database platforms.
The DBA will assist project teams in selecting appropriate database architectures that align with business requirements, IT standards, and best practices. This individual will also be responsible for creating reference architectures for review and approval by IT and business stakeholders.
Strong emphasis is placed on documentation, communication, and collaboration. The DBA will document environment changes, communicate effectively with the database team, and partner with developers, end users, and contract resources.
The role includes contributing to database cloud strategy initiatives, including migration from on‑premises environments to cloud platforms where appropriate.
On‑call support may be required.
