Senior Data Analyst / Report Developer
Direct Hire (No C2C or third-party submissions)
Location: Addison (75001)
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Interview Process: SQL screen w/AM then 2 rounds w/client; 1st is virtual with team, 2nd is onsite for 1.5 hours)
This role will focus on Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management data analysis and reporting. It requires working closely with various business leaders to understand their requests, analyze data in coordination with onshore/offshore data team, build dashboards and reports, and present these findings to business leaders.
Needs:
- 5+ years analyzing data and writing SQL queries/stored procedures on SQL Server
- 3+ years building dashboards/visualizations, with minimum 1+ year using Power BI, including full lifecycle of BI dev--configuring data sources and acquiring data from multiple sources (SQL, .CSV, flat files, etc.), setting up semantic models for Power BI (not just creating dashboards from prepared data/Excel provided by Developers/Data Modelers)
- 2+ years coding in DAX and Power Query for calculations and data retrieval/transformation
- 2+ years analyzing data and writing queries in SQL Server (proficiency in writing complex JOINs from scratch using some Windows functions required; not just SELECT statements since data will be pulled from multiple tables)
- 2+ years experience analyzing financial data, with strong preference towards healthcare revenue cycle data experience strongly preferred
- Will be querying data and creating views

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working with healthcare data, including clinical or revenue cycle datasets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Lakehouse, Excel Macros/VBA, SSRS, or Power BI Report Builder.
- Experience collaborating with offshore teams in a distributed development environment.
Duties:
- Gather and document reporting requirements, securing stakeholder approval.
- Analyze data and design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards aligned with business needs.
- Identify data quality issues, gaps, and inconsistencies, and recommend or implement corrective actions.
- Automate and streamline reporting processes to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Troubleshoot issues, determine root causes, and resolve system or data gaps.
- Monitor and support data integration workflows and reporting jobs.
- Document metrics, definitions, and processes while adhering to change control procedures.
- Support user acceptance testing and provide stakeholder training for new reports or data models.
- Follow established best practices while proactively suggesting enhancements.
- Collaborate with both offshore and onshore development and data teams.
- Coordinate cross‑functional data analysis initiatives and uphold high-quality standards across all deliverables.
