A highly sophisticated, mission-driven and high-growth organization is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join their team.

Role: Commercial Counsel
Midtown Manhattan (in-office with flexibility)
Compensation: $270K–$312K all-in
Reports to: Deputy General Counsel
What you’ll be doing:
• Leading end-to-end contracting processes and improving internal systems
• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements (vendor, technology, real estate, transportation, and services)
• Supporting key compliance initiatives, including HIPAA and data privacy
• Advising on broader legal matters, including M&A, SEC reporting, corporate governance, litigation, and risk
Allocation: ~60% commercial contracting / 30% M&A / 10% securities
Who they’re looking for:
• JD + active NY bar
• 3–6 years of experience (not to exceed 6 years)
• Background as a corporate attorney at a top law firm (BigLaw) with in-house experience strongly preferred
• Strong experience with commercial contracts, M&A, and public company matters
• Someone who brings sound judgment, attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment
