Role Description

  • Mobilize and develop your skills in the financial services industry, particularly in the Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, or Fintechs.
  • Actively listen to client issues and needs to formulate accurate and relevant insights.
  • Conduct thorough and rigorous research and analysis using client and/or external sources to clarify client challenges.
  • Formulate constructive, original, and high-impact recommendations and proposals.
  • Lead workshops and meetings, leveraging your facilitation and synthesis skills to drive efficiency and results.
  • Contribute to the design of work approaches/frameworks during engagements and ensure their execution while considering client context and constraints.
  • Deliver high-quality outputs, both in substance and form.
  • Support the development and integration of strategic plans, transformation plans, and client efficiency initiatives.
  • Master the fundamentals of project management and provide structured solutions to ensure smooth execution and risk anticipation.
  • Stay informed about trends and innovations in financial services (retail banking, CIB, wealth management, payments, fintech, embedded finance).
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and communication (both written and verbal) at all times, fostering trust and reinforcing Audactus' positive image.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives for the firm’s development (research, publications, networking, business proposals, podcasts) and monitor assignment opportunities aligned with the firm’s positioning.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in management or strategy consulting, ideally within banking, capital markets, asset management, fintech, or blockchain / DLT and tokenization. Appetite for Digital Assets, Stablecoins, and Blockchain/DLT market transformation is essential.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including structured problem-solving, data analysis, and development of business and financial models.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and optimize operating models, processes, and organizational structures to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Experience with transactions and transformation programs (e.g., M&A, post-merger integration, carve-outs, divestitures, change management, project portfolio management).
  • Solid understanding of risk management principles and governance frameworks in complex, regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear presentations, reports, and client-ready materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize competing deadlines, and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and building trusted, long-term client relationships.
  • Confident, self-aware team player who values feedback and continuous improvement
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
  • Advanced proficiency in AI tools is expected 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 4 years of consulting experience, including leading complex, high-impact engagements within a management consulting firm or a leading financial institution.
  • Proficiency in English, professional in a second language is a plus. 
  • Must be based in New York City and authorized to work in the United States.

New York base compensation is between $105,000 to $135,000 a year. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and market location.

A select number of senior professionals who have demonstrated exceptional and sustained contribution to the firm may be considered for equity participation after 1 year of tenure. This opportunity is reserved for individuals who have shown outstanding performance, strategic impact, and a long-term commitment to the firm's growth. Eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of firm leadership.


Hybrid policy

Audactus maintains its hybrid workplace arrangements and provides a flexible workplace environment that is driven by client and business/market needs. At this time, in person requirements are issued by departments (Business Unit/Business Line) and vary by office location. Consultants are expected to have the ability to be flexible with work location depending on business needs and live within a reasonable distance to the office.
