Senior Consultant - Anaplan

We are seeking an experienced Senior Anaplan Model Builder to design, develop, and optimize scalable Anaplan models that support enterprise planning and decision-making processes. The role requires strong expertise in financial planning, data integration, and end-to-end model lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain complex Anaplan models for Financial Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting, and Sales Planning.
• Translate business requirements into technical model designs following Anaplan best practices.
• Lead model architecture, ensuring scalability, performance optimization, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide functional solutions.
• Implement model enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
• Integrate Anaplan with external systems (e.g., Data Warehouses, APIs, ETL tools).
• Perform model testing, validation, and deployment across environments.
• Mentor junior model builders and review their work for quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain documentation for models, processes, and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Anaplan model building and solution design.
• Anaplan Certified Solution Architect or Level 3 Model Builder certification.
• Strong knowledge of Anaplan architecture, modules, lists, and data hubs.
• Hands-on experience with Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, or Supply Chain models.
• Proficiency in Anaplan best practices (DISCO, PLANS, ALM).
• Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft, or APIs).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Prior experience working in enterprise-scale implementations.
