Motive Workforce is supporting a robotics company seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead on-site system commissioning, ramp-up, and stabilization across warehouse deployments.

What You Will Do
- Lead on-site commissioning of robotic picking systems at customer facilities
- Bring systems from mechanical completion through first picks, ramp-up, and production handoff
- Validate integration across hardware, electrical, controls, and software systems
- Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, controls, and software domains
- Partner with remote engineering teams to troubleshoot and deploy fixes
- Execute test plans, acceptance criteria, and performance validation
- Train customer operators and maintenance teams during system handoff
- Document commissioning processes, site configurations, and lessons learned
- Feed field insights back to engineering and product teams
What You Bring
- 5-10+ years of commissioning or deployment experience in robotics or industrial automation
- Hands-on experience with robotic cells, automation systems, or warehouse environments
- Ability to work across mechanical, electrical, controls, and software interfaces
- Experience with industrial robots, ABB preferred
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and system layouts
- Strong troubleshooting skills in live production environments
- Willingness to travel up to ~75%
- Strong communication skills in customer-facing settings
- Self-driven and able to operate independently in the field
Nice to Have
- Experience in warehouse automation or intralogistics
- PLC or controls troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with safety systems, including E-stops, scanners, and light curtains
- Experience in startup or scaling engineering environments
