Helping our client find a Senior Business Systems Manager to lead the architecture of its corporate data ecosystem.

In this role, you’ll design and manage a scalable, integrated data environment that connects finance, HR, and planning systems to provide a unified, real-time view of global operations. You’ll ensure systems such as Oracle NetSuite, Workday, and Pigment are seamlessly integrated, enabling accurate reporting, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making at scale.

The ideal candidate is a highly technical leader with deep experience in enterprise systems, integrations, and data architecture and a proven ability to bridge business needs with scalable technical solutions.

As a Senior Business Systems Manager, you'll:

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations across core enterprise systems, including Oracle NetSuite (ERP), Workday (HRIS), and Pigment (FP&A).
  • Develop and manage data pipelines and API-driven architectures to ensure data integrity and real-time synchronization.
  • Partner with Finance and People Operations to automate workflows and reduce manual processes.
  • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and management of iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato, Tray.io, MuleSoft) to standardize integrations across global systems.
  • Define and maintain enterprise data standards and integration protocols to ensure a consistent source of truth for key business metrics.
  • Identify and resolve system bottlenecks, ensuring reliable reporting and forecasting with minimal downtime.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in enterprise architecture, mentoring team members on best practices and scalability.

Required skills

  • 7+ years of experience in business systems engineering, enterprise architecture, or a related integration-heavy role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep technical expertise with Oracle NetSuite and Workday APIs, including experience managing complex data migrations or system overhauls.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-dimensional planning tools like Pigment, Anaplan, or Adaptive Insights.
  • Proficiency in at least one major iPaaS platform (e.g., Workato, Tray.io, Boomi) and advanced scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or SQL) for custom integration logic.
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts (e.g., GL, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash) and HR lifecycles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design architectures that balance long-term scalability with immediate business needs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment preparing for public company readiness (SOX compliance).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (CRM) integrations and the broader lead-to-revenue ecosystem.
  • Advanced certifications in NetSuite (SuiteCloud Developer) or Workday (Integration Consultant).
  • Experience with data warehousing and BI tools (e.g., Snowflake, Tableau, or Looker).
