About the Role
Alibaba Cloud is the backbone of the world’s most advanced digital ecosystems. As a Senior Business Development Manager for our Global Key Accounts team, you will be at the forefront of the AI revolution. You aren't just selling cloud credits; you are a strategic architect helping Fortune 500 companies navigate large-scale migrations and integrate GenAI (via our Tongyi/Qwen models) into their core business.
You will own the strategy for high-growth verticals including Tech, Media, Gaming, and Manufacturing, positioning Alibaba Cloud as the premier partner for US-based multinationals expanding globally.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Growth: Build and lead a high-impact sales pipeline, engaging C-suite stakeholders to align cloud and AI solutions with their long-term business transformations.
- AI Evangelism: Act as a thought leader on the AI ecosystem, demonstrating how our AI-native solutions and the Tongyi Model suite (Qwen, Wan, Fun) drive ROI and innovation.
- Complex Migrations: Lead clients through the lifecycle of large-scale stack migrations, ensuring technical feasibility and business value.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrate internal resources—including Solution Architects, Product Managers, and Global Engineering teams—to deliver seamless, end-to-end execution.
- Market Intelligence: Develop scalable frameworks for client acquisition and provide "boots-on-the-ground" feedback to our product teams to shape the future of our cloud offerings.
What You Bring
- Enterprise Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Cloud/SaaS sales, specifically managing Fortune 500 accounts and complex, high-stakes negotiations.
- Technical Fluency: A deep understanding of cloud architecture, large-scale migrations, and the current GenAI landscape.
- C-Suite Influence: Proven ability to engage CEO/CTO/VP-level stakeholders as a trusted strategic advisor.
- Leadership: 3+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams or managing direct reports in a fast-paced environment.
- Global Mindset: Experience or interest in cross-border business dynamics and helping Western enterprises scale in international markets.
Compensation & Benefits The base pay range for this position is $156,000 – $255,600 per year. Final compensation is determined by various factors including experience, specialized knowledge, and market location.
