Who We Are

CornerStone Technology Talent Services specializes in delivering elite engineering talent into complex, enterprise-scale transformations. We partner with organizations modernizing critical platforms—giving engineers the opportunity to own architecture, solve hard problems, and build systems that actually matter at scale.

Why This Role Stands Out

This is a hands-on, architecture-driven role focused on building a modern, cloud-native contact center platform using Amazon Connect and the broader AWS ecosystem.

You won’t be maintaining legacy systems—you’ll be:

  • Re-architecting and scaling a mission-critical CX platform
  • Driving a full cloud ownership transformation
  • Building event-driven, AI-enabled customer engagement systems

If you’ve worked in environments where Amazon Connect is more than just configuration—this is that next-level opportunity.

What You’ll Own

Architecture & Platform Engineering

  • Design and implement enterprise-scale Amazon Connect solutions
  • Build resilient, multi-region architectures with high availability and fault tolerance
  • Define routing strategies, IVR flows, and contact orchestration at scale

Serverless & Event-Driven Engineering

  • Develop distributed systems using:
  • AWS Lambda
  • API Gateway
  • DynamoDB
  • SNS/SQS event pipelines
  • Architect loosely coupled, event-driven workflows across the platform

Contact Center Modernization

  • Rebuild and optimize:
  • Contact flows (IVR)
  • Intelligent routing and queueing
  • Voice + chat + digital channel integrations
  • Transition from vendor-dependent solutions to fully internalized AWS ownership

AI-Driven Customer Experience

  • Implement and enhance:
  • Conversational interfaces (Lex or similar)
  • Chatbots and virtual agents
  • Real-time analytics and sentiment-driven routing
  • Contribute to a next-gen CX strategy focused on automation and intelligence

Infrastructure, Automation & DevOps

  • Define infrastructure using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines
  • Enable consistent, scalable deployments across environments

Performance, Observability & Reliability

  • Leverage CloudWatch, logging, and tracing for system visibility
  • Diagnose and resolve latency, scaling, and reliability issues
  • Engineer for high throughput and low-latency interactions

Technical Leadership

  • Act as a senior-level contributor and technical leader
  • Influence architecture decisions and engineering standards
  • Mentor engineers and elevate overall team capability

What You Bring

Core Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Amazon Connect in production environments
  • Strong background in AWS architecture and distributed systems
  • Proven experience building contact center / IVR platforms at scale
  • Expertise with:
  • Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB
  • Event-driven/serverless architectures
  • Experience with Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps best practices

What Separates Top Candidates

  • Experience leading or contributing to large-scale platform migrations
  • Exposure to AI/ML integrations within contact centers (Lex, speech analytics, etc.)
  • Ability to think beyond implementation—toward platform strategy and scalability
  • Background in high-availability, customer-facing systems

Who You Are

  • You’ve gone beyond basic AWS usage—you’ve designed systems end-to-end
  • You understand that contact centers are evolving into real-time data platforms
  • You’re comfortable owning both architecture and hands-on execution
  • You’re the person others rely on when systems need to scale, stabilize, or transform

What You’ll Gain

  • Ownership over a high-visibility, enterprise platform
  • Opportunity to build in a modern AWS-native environment
  • Exposure to advanced CX, AI, and automation use cases
  • Partnership with a team that understands how to place engineers in roles where they can actually make an impact

The Bottom Line

This is a role for someone who can:

Design, build, and scale a modern Amazon Connect ecosystem—combining cloud architecture, event-driven engineering, and AI-driven customer experience into one cohesive platform.
