Parcc Associates is partnering with a respected public accounting and advisory firm in Columbus to hire an experienced audit professional for a client-facing senior-level role. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Audit & Assurance Associate, you will support and lead audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse client base. You will help plan engagements, perform and review audit procedures, identify accounting and reporting issues, and communicate directly with client contacts and internal leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading sections of financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
  • Preparing and reviewing audit documentation for complex accounting areas
  • Working directly with client management to obtain information, resolve questions, and keep engagements moving forward
  • Identifying opportunities to improve client processes, controls, and reporting
  • Researching accounting and auditing guidance as issues arise
  • Supporting engagement planning, fieldwork, wrap-up, and financial statement preparation
  • Coaching staff and interns through day-to-day audit work
  • Using technology and data tools to improve audit quality and provide better client insights

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of recent public accounting audit experience
  • CPA, CPA candidate, or CPA eligibility preferred
  • Strong understanding of audit methodology, financial statements, and GAAP
  • Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities, and client communication
  • Experience supervising or reviewing the work of junior team members
  • Interest in continuing to grow into higher-level client service and leadership responsibilities
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
