About the Role
This is a senior-level opportunity for an experienced real estate attorney to take a lead role on sophisticated transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, financings, development, leasing, and land use matters. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and clients on complex, often multi-jurisdictional matters and will be given significant responsibility and autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures
- Structure, negotiate, and document real estate finance transactions, including construction and mezzanine financing
- Advise clients on development projects, including zoning, land use, and entitlement matters
- Draft and negotiate commercial leases across office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use asset classes
- Manage distressed real estate matters, including restructurings, workouts, and enforcement actions
- Oversee due diligence processes and coordinate multi-disciplinary deal teams
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing strategic and practical legal advice
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff on transactional matters
- Collaborate closely with partners on deal strategy, negotiation, and execution
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in commercial real estate law, ideally with a strong transactional and/or finance focus
- Experience at a leading law firm or similarly sophisticated practice environment
- Strong background in acquisitions, finance, leasing, and/or development matters
- Exposure to zoning and land use matters is advantageous
- Admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar (required)
