Our client is looking for a Senior Attorney to join their team! This is an opportunity to take ownership of a full civil litigation caseload within a well-established regional firm, handling complex insurance defense matters while contributing to case strategy and client outcomes.
Location: Onsite in Denver, CO
Pay: $120,000 – $170,000 (DOE)
Here is what you will be doing:
- Manage a full caseload of insurance defense litigation matters independently
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Develop litigation strategy and provide guidance to clients and junior attorneys
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients, adjusters, and opposing counsel
Here is what our ideal candidate has:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership license in Colorado. Additional licensure in Wyoming or Nebraska is a plus but not required for this role.
- 5+ years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense (auto, premises, general liability, etc.)
- Proven trial experience strongly preferred
- Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
