OverviewBlackford Capital is seeking a Senior Analyst to support execution across its portfolio companies. This role works closely with the Portfolio Operations team and management teams to drive key initiatives, track performance, and ensure workstreams are moving forward.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will be comfortable operating in ambiguity and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities- Own and manage workstreams across multiple portfolio companies
- Track key initiatives, timelines, and deliverables to ensure progress and accountability
- Partner with management teams to gather data, monitor performance, and support operational initiatives
- Prepare materials for internal meetings, board discussions, and reporting
- Identify areas for improvement and support implementation of process and operational changes
- Coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders to keep projects moving
Qualifications- 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, consulting, banking, or operational finance
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with financial data
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and follow through on deliverables
Preferred- Experience working with operating companies or in a multi-entity environment
- Exposure to private equity or transaction-related work
- Ties to Grand Rapids, MI
