Who We Are

Broadstreet Impact Services is an impact financial services company with two connected businesses: fund services and fund management. We support impact investing, where funds pursue financial returns and measurable real-world outcomes. We provide fund administration and operational support to fund managers and manage select investment vehicles directly, including private loan funds and a specialized tax credit investing platform (the federal New Markets Tax Credit program). Across our platform, we manage about $500M in assets through funds we operate and oversee, and we administer about $1.9B in assets under administration for clients.


The Role

The Senior Analyst will work closely with Fund Managers and Vice Presidents to oversee multi-asset loan funds and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) funds. This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing financial models, leading investor relations efforts, supporting asset and portfolio management, and conducting financial analysis to monitor fund performance. The Senior Analyst will also play a key role in fund operations, including reporting, capital activity tracking, and ensuring compliance with fund agreements and program requirements.


The Fund Management (FM) team serves as the primary point of contact for Broadstreet’s Fund Services clients. The team is responsible for fund development, financial structuring and modeling, investor relations, asset and portfolio management, and credit decision-making, while also overseeing fund operations, including capital decisions, administrative activities, and investor reporting.


Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $72,000–$82,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.


What You'll Do

Financial Analysis and Modeling:

  • Own and maintain investment fund models, managing and monitoring fund performance, and ensure compliance with fund agreements. This includes:
  • Reviewing IRR schedules
  • Comparing and analyzing actual results to projections
  • Reviewing projections to ensure they are based on reasonable assumptions
  • Preparing quarterly and annual fund reports for investment funds
  • Reviewing legal documents
  • Comprehend and adhere to programmatic compliance rules for the New Markets Tax Credit program. This includes running various calculations to confirm sufficient funds have been deployed into investments and distributions up the structure are within limits.
  • Track, compile, and complete reporting for various investment funds
  • Lead scenario analysis based on different outcomes and contextualize how this could impact a fund.
  • Assist in the building and review of new models for funds being launched

Investor Relations and Business Development

  • Manage client/investor communication and prepare regular updates for investors including investor presentations
  • Aid in preparing for business development meetings and onboarding new investors/clients
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis, due diligence, and work as assigned

Portfolio Management:

  • In coordination with partner lenders, lead the monitoring of transactions from closing to exit by evaluating and reporting on the borrowers’ financial, operational, and community impact performance
  • Collect, review, and analyze all required reporting from borrowers to ensure compliance with loan agreements and NMTC requirements; maintain reporting requirements calendar and reminder system
  • Prepare portfolio reports and summarize performance for Broadstreet management, deal partners, clients, and investors
  • Support NMTC investment deal qualifications and preparation of qualification documents.
  • Help with preparation of underwriting memos and presentations for various investment committees.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • 2–4+ years of experience in financial services, fund management, or a related field
  • Broad knowledge of financial markets and interest in impact investing
  • Interest in structured finance and public-private investment structures
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership and contribute at a high level
