Location: Hybrid (Secaucus, NJ)
The Epic Cadence and Prelude Analyst III is a senior-level subject matter expert responsible for the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of complex, cross-functional initiatives across the patient access continuum. This role establishes configuration standards, validation strategies, and integration frameworks that unify operational, clinical, and financial workflows into a cohesive, high-performing system.
Working closely with architecture, operations, and revenue cycle stakeholders, the Analyst III plays a key role in optimizing front-end processes, improving registration accuracy, ensuring compliant billing, and enabling seamless data exchange. This position also contributes to governance, change management, and ongoing innovation in patient access workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Epic Cadence and Prelude to design and deliver end-to-end patient access workflows
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including validation plans, regression testing, and release coordination
- Define and maintain standards for system configuration, integration, and workflow design
- Drive process improvement efforts leveraging deep knowledge of Cadence and Prelude functionality
- Serve as the primary technical liaison to operational teams, translating business needs into scalable system solutions
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, supporting both technical development and best practices
- Oversee integrated testing efforts for major system enhancements and upgrades
- Promote consistency, quality, and efficiency across all patient access-related system builds
Qualifications
Required:
- 7+ years of experience with Epic Cadence and Prelude, including at least one full implementation
- Strong expertise in integrations and data flow across patient access applications (e.g., Cadence, Prelude, MyChart)
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale initiatives impacting patient access workflows
- Proven ability to facilitate design sessions and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Epic certifications in Cadence and Prelude
Preferred:
- Experience managing or contributing to large-scale transformation initiatives
- Additional Epic certifications
- Prior project management experience
