MajorDuties

  • Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leads the "Perform to Plan" (P2P) and Submarine Shipyard (SUB SYD) initiatives, utilizing advanced qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify and eliminate barriers in the submarine construction, maintenance and deployment pipeline. Responsible for analyzing vast amounts of data across the PESTONI pillars (Personnel, Equipment, Supply, Training, Ordnance, Network, and Infrastructure) and will provide the strategic insights necessary to ensure the undersea force maintains a competitive advantage over global adversaries. Design and execute pioneering operations research studies that address complex, multifaceted variables where no previous analytical precedent exists. Responsible for developing and sustaining sophisticated analytical products, modeling historical depot maintenance trends, and providing future projections of fleet readiness to senior leadership. Represent Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager Submarines (DRPM SUBS) in high-stakes negotiation forums with Flag Officers and Senior Executive Service (SES) members, often making independent decisions that impact the entire Undersea Warfare Enterprise.

Requirements

You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position. You must submit to a drug test and receive a negative drug test before you can be appointed into this position. In order to qualify for this position, you must be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI). This position requires a Program Management, Advanced, acquisition certification. The incumbent has 48 months to achieve this certification."
