Senior Accounting Analyst, 95K-105K (Lewisville)

Pays 90K-105K+Bonus

We are looking to fill a Senior Accounting Analyst role in Lewisville with a world class manufacturing company. The Senior Accounting Analyst is a key member of the Corporate Accounting team, supporting accounting and financial analysis functions. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for analysis, monthly reconciliations, and providing actionable financial insights. The position collaborates cross-functionally and regularly interacts with senior leadership, contributing to both operational and strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and results
• Perform actual-to-forecast variance analysis during month-end close
• Record accrual journal entries and support close processes
• Translate complex accounting and financial concepts into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses, including data gathering, modeling, and presentation of findings
• Participate in special projects, offering analytical recommendations and business insights
• Support quarterly and annual external reporting processes (10-Q, 10-K, 11-K)
• Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation and testing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial analysis
• MBA or MS in Finance or related discipline is a plus
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
• SAP experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
