Senior Accountant | Private Real Estate | $80K–$100K + Bonus/Profit Share | Hybrid
Position Overview
A $14B+ AUM global real asset investment manager is building out its Private Real Estate Accounting team with the addition of a Senior Accountant.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role designed for an up-and-coming accountant looking for broad exposure across fund, investment, and property-level accounting within a collaborative, institutional platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own key aspects of the monthly and quarterly close process (journal entries, reconciliations, cash activity)
- Assist in preparation of quarterly financial reporting packages
- Manage capital activity including capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations
- Support investment-level accounting including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
- Track performance metrics (IRR, returns, debt activity)
- Contribute to management fee and incentive fee calculations
- Partner cross-functionally with asset management and portfolio teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA progress preferred)
- 2–6 years of accounting experience
- Strong foundation in GAAP and full-cycle accounting
- Real estate property accounting experience strongly preferred
- Exposure to fund accounting, private equity, or partnerships is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
