We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join our finance team. This role will be responsible for owning key aspects of the general ledger, leading month-end close processes, overseeing transactional accounting activities, and preparing and analyzing financial statements. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, experience working in mid-to-large-sized organizations, and proficiency with major ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage general ledger (GL) activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards
  • Lead and execute the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Oversee transactional accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting, ensuring proper controls and processes are in place
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and external auditors to support reporting and audits
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist with implementation, optimization, or upgrades of ERP systems


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within mid-to-large-sized companies
  • Strong expertise in general ledger accounting and full-cycle month-end close
  • Experience overseeing or partnering with transactional accounting teams (AP/AR)
  • Proven experience preparing and analyzing financial statements
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally


Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
  • Exposure to internal controls and SOX compliance
